Figure Drawing - I will emphasize the psychology, or character of the figure and the underlying structure to describe various forms. With your 3 friends in the studio - your pencil, your eraser, and your teacher - you will acquire a disciplined intelligence in rendering the human form.

Figure Sculpting - For sculptors of all levels who wish to develop structurally sound and realistically rendered figure work. You learn to train your eye to realize the architecture of the figure conceptually and proportionally.

Relief Sculpting - Utilizing strong knowledge in ancient and classical styles of relief sculpture as the foundation, you will learn to use basic forms of relief to realize your personal concepts.

Painting - Start with still life and landscape then move on to figure and portrait. Drawing from life will provide the foundation, but soon you will move beyond simple copying of nature. You will learn about material, color, and compositions as tools to introduce your ideas on canvas.

Live models are not included but can be arranged. Students will pay the model directly.
